What is the difference between BOTOX® and Dysport™?
As far as safety, time to on-set, and efficacy, there is very little difference between these two products. Some people claim to get better results with one or the other, but in our experience, there is very little significant difference. Some people can build up an immunity to one product. In which case, we recommend trying the alternative product. It is important to note that these products are measured differently. Many times you will see the price for Dysport™ advertised at about ½ the price of BOTOX®. But be aware that you need twice as much Dysport™ compared to BOTOX®, so in they end, they are generally the same price.

Are these treatments safe?
Yes. Neurotoxins are one of the safest cosmetic treatments available. Long-term study results found that in 853 treatment sessions with BOTOX® over time periods extending up to 9 years, there were no side-effects in 99% of patients. The only side effects reported were minor, such as headaches and bruising. Dysport™ has been used in Europe for over 20 years, and has the same safety profile as BOTOX®.

How long does a treatment last?
Your first treatment will last about 3 months. If you are regular with your touch-ups, you can get results for up to 6 months at a time. Treatment results do vary among patients, and Elase does not guarantee any specific duration for your results.

Is there any downtime?
No. You may be red at the injection sites for up to 4-8 hours and you may experience pin point bruising at the injection site. You may also experience mild headaches as the product sets in. (About 3-7 days post injection).

What is an Anti-Aging Party and how can I book one?
Many of our clients like to have these treatments done with the company of friends. At Elase we offer you the opportunity to invite your friends for an evening of discounted services, food, and lots of fun. We will host and cater the party at any of our facilities; you just need to bring the guests. The host/hostest for the evening will receive 10% of the evenings proceeds towards his/her procedures.
